Week Of January 19th Challenge

Hi friends! Thanks for being a part of this community! My hopes are that we will be able to do this for a long time, perhaps throughout the rest of this year.

There is something about a photograph that can capture a little bit of the soul, something very telling...whether goofy or serious. SO! With that being said, I hope that you will let your imagination run and your creative juices flow.

So, this week is "New Years Resolutions". Yes, I know, it\'s 19 days late, but it might be a fun reminder for you. What did you promise to yourself for 2009? How can you depict that in a photograph? No relsolutions? Ok...depict that! Or....you could even make fun of the "typical" resolutions. Remember, it doesn\'t have to be literal...

I don\'t really want to give any specific ideas on here b/c I don\'t want to steal your creativity. But, if you need a little bit of help, just email me back and we can talk about it.

Please follow all of the rules.

*If you would like to upload the pictures yourself here on facebook, go to the group page and scroll down to the bottom. If you would like for me to upload them, just email them to allysinwonderland@gmail.com*

And...one last thing. I had an idea (and then it was seconded by a friend) that after this year is up to put the photos into book form along with the text that went with them. There is a website called www.blurb.com It is an online book software system that I already have downloaded. (but you can still go check it out...very cool) If you are interested in creating a book after the year is over of your Self Portraits, let me know. I think it would be a neat keepsake! Maybe even a present to the parents???? PLUS! You will need to hold on to your photos. To create these books you have to have fairly large photos for clear pages. I will not be able to just pull them off of facebook. Again, just send me an email and we\'ll talk!

I PROMISE FUTURE POSTS WON\'T BE THIS LONG!! Just lots to talk about! :]

Have fun shooting the "New Years Resolutions"
